Carabella 2016 Inchinnan Pinot Noir
2016 Inchinnan Pinot Noir

James Suckling 94 Pts.

"This has a composed and nicely cut core of red-fruit aromas and flavors with a very plush and silky palate that delivers a supple, succulent and long, ribbon-like finish. Super fresh and energetic. Drink or hold." -JAMES SUCKLING

Wine Enthusiast 90 Pts.

"The fruit leans toward black cherry, with a slightly roasted quality. The aging in new barrels adds a warm smooth mocha flavor, and the acidity closes with a touch of citrus." -PAUL GREGUTT

The warm sunshine during harvest brought excellent ripeness and tannins to the blend. The usual suspects, Wädenswil (black cherry), Dijon 114 (blackberry earth) and Dijon 115 (acid balance) are all contributing to the tradition. An unmarked wild card barrel made the cut, adding intriguing elements.
