"Supple and expressive, with tangy acidity balancing the generous black cherry and blackberry flavors. A grapefruit note adds interest on the finish."
-HS

Description: A classic vintage for Inchinnan. Supple and expressive, with tangy acidity balancing the generous black cherry and blackberry flavors. A grapefruit note adds interest on the finish. Very warm, sunny conditions led to wonderful ripeness, and an unusual spice black pepper character to the skin tannins. As usual, Wädenswil and the earthy Dijon 114 anchor the blend. Dijon 115 brings bright acidity to balance the dark elements. One barrel of the 2007 Dijon 667 planting is really compelling this vintage, bringing the final piece to the winemaker’s puzzle.

The 2014 vintage is a densely rich version of Inchinnan dominated by Dijon 114 and the Wädenswil clone. Dark ruby in color with blackberry and dark cherry notes. A touch of earthiness with firm tannins round out the finish. This vintage is really starting to show well.

Pairing
Lamb chops with a spice rub.
